Sopa de Codos
Ingredients:
1 packageelbow paste 200 gr
1/2 kiloground beef
2 red tomatoes
2 washed potatoes cut into large squares without peel
1 pieceonion
2 garlic
Branches cilantro
1 Hunts Tomato Sauce
Oil/salt/pepper
Chicken broth powder (Knorr)
Dried oregano
Instructions:
Step 1
Heat a splash of oil, fry the pasta once golden brown, add ground meat, salt and pepper, stir constantly while we blend tomato, onion, and garlic with water, since the meat changes color, add what we blend by straining.
Step 2
Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of Hunts sauce, 1 tablespoon of powdered chicken broth, potatoes, the cilantro sprigs and half a tablespoon of dry oregano, if necessary, add more water because it will reduce, here it depends on how you like the broth, leave it for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Test if it is ready with salt and that’s it, serve hot, they will love it. Optionally, you can add some serrano chiles when blending.
