Cheesy Jalapeño Sausage Balls Everyone Fights Over

Cheesy Jalapeño Sausage Balls Everyone Fights Over

Ingredients

1 pound mild pork sausage

8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature

2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix

2 cups freshly shredded Pepper Jack cheese

3 tablespoons pickled jalapeños, finely chopped

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly coat it with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, add the pork sausage, softened cream cheese, Bisquick baking mix, shredded Pepper Jack cheese, and chopped pickled jalapeños.

Mix everything together until just combined. Avoid overmixing so the sausage balls stay tender.

Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, portion the mixture into 1-inch balls.

Arrange the sausage balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each one.

Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and fully cooked.

Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F, then serve warm.
