Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 medium onion, chopped

2 tsp garlic, minced

15 ounces tomato sauce

2 cans of diced tomatoes

1 tsp Italian seasoning

4 to 5 cups cabbage, chopped

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the Olive Oil and add in the ground beef and the onion.

Saute the ground beef until it is completely cooked

Add in the minced garlic, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, the cabbage, the Italian Seasoning and the salt and pepper.

Stir to combine well

Reduce the heat to simmer, cover the skillet and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cabbage is softened.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve!

Serve with mashed potatoes, a chilled salad or roasted vegetables. Virtually anything will taste good if you want a side for this dish.
