Texas Trash Dip Recipe

Ingredients

32 ounces refried beans

8 ounces cream cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 packet taco seasoning

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat and Mix the Base:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning.

Stir until the mixture becomes smooth and fully blended.

2. Spread Into Baking Dish:

Transfer the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly to create a smooth, level layer.

3. Add the Cheese Topping:

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses evenly over the top, creating a generous, even blanket of cheese.

4. Bake Until Hot and Bubbly:

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbling around the edges, and lightly golden.

5. Cool and Serve:

Allow the dip to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy it warm with tortilla chips, crackers, sliced vegetables, or any of your favorite dippers.
