Apple Pie Egg Rolls

Ingredients

4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and finely diced

½ cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

¼ teaspoon ground allspice

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

12 egg roll wrappers

Oil for frying

Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Apple Filling:

Peel, core, and finely dice the apples.

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and flour.

Toss until the apples are evenly coated and the mixture is well blended.

2. Assemble the Egg Rolls:

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface so it forms a diamond shape.

Spoon a generous portion of the apple filling into the center, being careful not to overfill.

Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, tucking it underneath.

Fold in the left and right corners toward the center to enclose the filling.

Roll the wrapper tightly toward the top corner and seal the edge with a dab of water to secure it.

3. Fry the Egg Rolls:

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully lower the egg rolls into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry for 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally, until the egg rolls are golden brown and crisp.

4. Serve and Enjoy:

Transfer the fried egg rolls to a paper towel–lined plate to drain excess oil.

Dust lightly with powdered sugar.

Serve warm, optionally paired with vanilla ice cream or your favorite dipping sauce for an elevated dessert experience.
