Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Pudding
Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Pudding
Ingredients:
Cheesecake Layer:
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pudding Layer:
1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
Base & Fruit:
1 box vanilla wafers or cookies of choice
2 bananas, sliced (sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning)
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries, plus extra for topping
Crushed strawberry wafers (optional) for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cheesecake Layer
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
Set the cheesecake filling aside — this will form one of the rich, velvety layers of your dessert.
2. Make the Pudding Layer
In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully set into a creamy consistency.
3. Assemble the Layers
Begin with a base layer of vanilla wafers (or your preferred cookies) at the bottom of a large trifle dish, glass bowl, or dessert cups.
Top with a layer of sliced bananas and fresh strawberries, distributing them evenly.
Spread a thick layer of the cheesecake filling over the fruit, smoothing it gently with a spatula.
Add a layer of pudding on top of the cheesecake filling.
Repeat the layering process — wafers, fruit, cheesecake filling, pudding — until all the components are used, finishing with a pudding or fruit layer for a beautiful presentation.
4. Garnish and Chill
Sprinkle the top with extra chopped strawberries and crushed strawberry wafers for color, texture, and a touch of crunch.
Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld and the texture to set.
5. Serve and Enjoy
When ready to serve, scoop or slice into portions and enjoy chilled.
Each bite offers a perfect balance of creamy cheesecake, sweet pudding, fresh fruit, and crunchy wafers — a delightful fusion of textures that’s sure to impress at any gathering.
