Creamy Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta

Creamy Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef – browned and crumbled

1 small yellow onion, finely diced

2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter or olive oil – for sautéing

1 cup heavy cream – for richness

1 cup whole milk – to balance and smooth the sauce

1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese – for a bold, savory finish

½ teaspoon garlic powder – enhances depth

¼ teaspoon onion powder – boosts flavor

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

8 ounces dried pasta – fettuccine, penne, or any preferred shape

Fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped (optional garnish for color and freshness)

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.

2. Brown the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil or butter. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until fully browned and no longer pink, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed and transfer the beef to a bowl.

3. Sauté Aromatics & Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.

Stir in the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Add Cheese & Season

Stir in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Combine Everything

Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet. Mix well to coat the beef in the sauce.

Add the drained pasta and gently toss until everything is evenly coated in the creamy Alfredo mixture.

6. Serve

Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy immediately while creamy and fresh!
