Cheeseburger Stuffed Pastries
Cheeseburger Stuffed Pastries
Ingredients
Ground beef – 1 pound
Small onion – 1, finely chopped
Cheddar cheese – 1 cup, freshly shredded
Refrigerated crescent roll dough – 1 (8-ounce) package
Ketchup – 2 tablespoons
Yellow mustard – 1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon
Salt and black pepper – to taste
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Instructions
1. Preheat and Heat the Pan
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Cook the Beef and Onion
Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and translucent.
Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
Drain off any excess grease.
3. Flavor the Filling
Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Let the mixture cook for another 2–3 minutes so the flavors meld, then remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
4. Assemble the Pastries
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles.
Spoon a portion of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
5. Seal and Bake
Fold the dough over the filling, pressing the edges together firmly to seal.
Arrange the filled pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
6. Rest and Serve
Remove from the oven and let the pastries cool for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy warm.
