Notes:

Red Potatoes: Choose firm red potatoes for their creamy texture and ability to hold their shape well during roasting.

Seasoning: Salt and pepper are used to season the potatoes before coating them with the Parmesan and onion soup mix, ensuring even distribution of flavors.

Olive Oil: Helps coat the potatoes evenly and promotes browning during baking, enhancing their crispiness.

Onion Soup Mix: Adds savory depth and flavor to the potatoes, complementing the Parmesan cheese.

Parmesan Cheese: Freshly grated Parmesan adds a nutty and salty flavor, forming a crispy crust on the potatoes as they bake.

Preparation: Cutting the potatoes into quarters ensures they cook evenly and allows for more surface area to develop crispiness.

Baking: Covering the baking dish with aluminum foil initially helps steam the potatoes, ensuring they cook through, while uncovering them for the last 15 minutes allows them to crisp up.

Garnishes: Fresh parsley or chopped green onions add a pop of color and freshness to the dish before serving.

Serving: Optional sour cream on the side complements the savory flavors of the potatoes and adds a creamy element.

Variations: Feel free to adjust the seasoning or add herbs like rosemary or thyme for different flavor profiles. You can also experiment with different types of cheese for varied tastes.
