1 can (15 oz) small white beans, drained and rinsed

2-3 cups kale, chopped (stems removed)
1 bay leaf
1 piece Parmigiano Reggiano rind (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Juice of 1 lemon

Fennel fronds (for garnish)
Grated Parmigiano Reggiano (for serving)
Instructions:
Sauté the Vegetables:
