Notes:

Rice Preparation: Soak Jasmine rice in cold water for 20 minutes and then drain. This step helps remove excess starch, preventing the rice from sticking or becoming mushy during cooking.

Blend Preparation: Prepare a fresh blend using 2 tomatoes, 1/4 white onion, 2 spoonfuls of chicken bullion (or 2 cubes), salt to taste, and 1/2 cup of water. Blend these ingredients until smooth to create a flavorful base for the rice.

Sautéing the Rice: After draining the soaked rice, fry it in oil until it turns a golden tan color. This step adds depth of flavor and enhances the texture of the rice.

Adding the Blend: Once the rice is sautéed, add the prepared blend to the pan. Allow it to come to a boil, ensuring the flavors meld together.

Cooking the Rice: Add 2 cups of water to the pan, cover with a lid, and cook over medium-low heat for exactly 20 minutes. Use a timer to ensure precise cooking time, which is crucial for achieving fluffy, evenly cooked rice.

Resting Period: After the 20-minute cooking time, turn off the heat but do not remove the lid. Let the rice sit undisturbed for an additional 10 minutes. This resting period allows the rice to finish cooking in its own steam, resulting in perfectly fluffy grains.

Enjoying the Dish: Once rested, fluff the rice with a fork gently and serve hot as a delicious side dish or a satisfying main course.
