Mango Salsa Recipe

Ingredients

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced into small cubes

1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and diced

½ medium red onion, finely chopped for a mild bite

½ bunch fresh cilantro, roughly chopped (about ½ cup packed)

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, from about 1 medium lime

Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the mango and avocado into small, bite-sized cubes. Finely chop the red onion and roughly chop the cilantro leaves.

Combine in a Bowl

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the diced mango, avocado, chopped red onion, and cilantro.

Add Lime Juice

Squeeze fresh lime juice (about 2 tablespoons or to taste) over the mixture. The citrus adds brightness and helps preserve the avocado’s color.

Toss and Serve

Gently toss all ingredients together with a spoon or spatula, being careful not to mash the avocado. Serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
