Crockpot Lemon Pepper Wings

Ingredients

2.5 pounds Party wings

12 oz sprite or your favorite lemon lime soda

1/4 Cup Lemon Pepper seasoning

Instructions

Turn the slow cooker on to the low setting. Rinse and pat dry wings.

Place wings into a slow cooker and pour soda over them.

Secure the lid and cook on low 3 or 4 hours or until the wings are no longer pink.

Preheat the oven to 350°.Using a slotted spoon, carefully, remove the wings from the slow cooker and drain the wings in a colander, allowing all the juice to drip off. Because the wings are very tender, they will easily fall apart, so be careful in this step.

Place drained wings onto a foil lined sheet pan. Sprinkle the wings on both sides with the lemon pepper seasoning.

Be sure to cover completely. Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes until crisp. Serve and enjoy!
