Ingredients
2 large cans of Peaches, drained
2 tubes crescent roll dough
2 sticks butter
⅔ cup light brown sugar
⅔ cup granulated sugar
3 tsp ground cinnamon, combined with the granulated sugar
1 ½ cups Sprite or another brand of lemon lime soda
Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350*
Using butter, grease a 9×13 baking pan
Open the tubes of crescent roll dough
Separate the dough into triangles
Place one or two slices of peach on the long end of the crescent roll
Sprinkle with some cinnamon sugar mixture
Roll the crescent roll dough around the peaches
Secure the dough, by pinching or pressing the end of the dough
Place the dumpling into the baking dish
Continue this process until you have used all the crescent rolls
Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave
Pour the melted butter over the dumplings
Open the soda and pour it into the baking dish, be sure to pour around the dumplings, not over the top
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the dough is beginning to become lightly golden on the tops
Serve warm with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream
