Berry & Brie Stuffed Jalapeño “Candy Poppers”

Berry & Brie Stuffed Jalapeño “Candy Poppers”
Ingredients:
6 fresh jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and deseeded
4 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small bite-sized cubes
¼ cup berry preserves or jam (such as blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, or a mixed blend)
1 teaspoon honey (optional, for added shine and sweetness)
Optional garnishes: crushed pistachios, flaky sea salt, freshly grated lemon zest, or fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them lengthwise in half. Carefully remove the seeds and inner membranes to control the heat level.
Fill with brie by placing a small cube of brie into each jalapeño half, nestling it securely inside the cavity.
Add the berry topping by spooning about ½–1 teaspoon of berry jam over each piece of brie, letting it slightly coat the top.
Drizzle with honey (optional) for a glossy finish and extra caramelized sweetness.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the brie is melted, soft, and lightly bubbling.
Finish and garnish by topping with fresh thyme, a touch of lemon zest, or crushed pistachios for added texture and brightness, if desired.
Pro Tip:
For a glossy, candy-like finish, place the tray under the broiler for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking to gently caramelize the jam into a shiny, lightly crisp coating.
