Delicious Cabbage Casserole
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1 tbsp Olive Oil
½ cup chopped yellow onion
15 ounces tomato sauce
2-15 ounce cans diced tomatoes
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp garlic
1 medium sized head of cabbage
15 ounces Ricotta Cheese
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded
Parsley for garnish
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350*
Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add in the onion and meat
Step 2:
Add the tomato sauce and the seasonings, let simmer for 15 minutes
Place half of the shredded cabbage at the bottom of a well greased casserole dish
Step 3:
Place half of the meat mixture over the cabbage
Place the other half of the cabbage on top of the meat
Step 4:

Step 5:

Cover the casserole dish tightly with aluminum foil
