Easy Sausage With Onions And Peppers

Ingredients

1 green bell pepper, cut into strips

1 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips

1 red bell pepper, cut into strips

5 links of Italian sausage

1 medium onion, sliced

3 tsp garlic, minced

2 tbsp Olive Oil

2 tsp Italian Seasoning

1 16 ounce can of crushed tomatoes

Salt and pepper, if desired

Instructions

Heat the oil in a skillet and brown the sausages until they are browned on all sides

Add the sliced onions and all the sliced peppers, saute for roughly five minutes until they are softened.

Spoon in the minced garlic and saute for another 30 seconds

Sprinkle the Italian Seasoning on top and pour in the crushed tomatoes

Stir to combine and add more salt and pepper if desired

After 5 minutes, place the sausages back into the pan

Cover and simmer for 25 minutes

Be sure the sausages are cooked thoroughly
