6 strips of bacon, cooked until crisp and chopped.

2 cups uncooked pasta – rotini is ideal for holding the creamy sauce.

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese – for rich, melty texture.

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.

1 teaspoon onion powder – adds savory depth.

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – brings aromatic herbs to balance the creamy sauce.

Sauce Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter – forms the base of a smooth, creamy sauce.

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour – helps thicken the sauce to the perfect consistency.

1 tablespoon minced garlic – for bold, fragrant flavor.

2 cups half and half – makes the sauce silky and rich without being heavy.

2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning mix – the signature flavor that ties the dish together.

Instructions

In a large skillet set over low heat, cook the bacon slowly until golden and crispy.

Transfer it to a paper towel–lined plate to drain, then roughly chop once cooled.

Carefully pour the rendered bacon drippings into a small bowl, and wipe the skillet clean for the next step.
