28 oz. can whole peeled tomatoes
1/3 cup vodka
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 cup fresh chopped basil
1/2 – 3/4 cup half and half
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz. penne pasta
Fresh black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step 1:
In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium heat; add onions and garlic and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
