Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin
Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder – complements the garlic and adds rich undertones
1 teaspoon dried oregano – offers a fragrant, herbal balance
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper – for subtle heat and complexity
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes – optional, for an extra kick of heat
3 tablespoons olive oil – helps bind the spices and ensures a juicy, tender cook
1 pork tenderloin (about 1½ pounds)
2 tablespoons honey
Instructions:
Prepare the Spice Rub:
In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well blended.
Marinate the Pork:
Place the pork tenderloin into a large zip-top bag.
Add olive oil and the prepared spice mix.
Seal the bag and massage the seasonings into the meat to coat evenly.
Refrigerate and marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 12 hours for deeper flavor.
Air Fry the Tenderloin:
Preheat your air fryer to 385°F (196°C) for 5 minutes.
Remove the pork from the marinade and place it in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 20–22 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) when checked with a digital meat thermometer.
Rest and Serve:
Transfer the pork to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes to retain its juices.
Slice into medallions and drizzle with honey just before serving.
