Butter Chicken Curry Soup

Ingredients:

1/2 C unsalted butter

1 box Rice A Roni, wild rice and seasoning packet

2-3 Cup boiling water

3 Cups shredded chicken

1 tsp minced onion (dried)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp curry powder

1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Pinch cayenne pepper

1 jar Patak’s Butter Chicken Curry

1/2 cup vermicelli

4oz Philadelphia cream cheese (room temperature)

Instructions:

Melt butter in a large pot or Dutch oven. Add box of Rice A Roni and brown slightly.

Add boiling water to pot and seasoning packet. Once rice is half cooked add shredded chicken , remaining seasonings, and vermicelli. (May need to add additional boiling water)

Cook until pasta and rice are tender. Finally add the room temperature cream cheese and stir until thoroughly combined.

Could serve with a crust of bread, garlic naan, basmati rice.
